Hello! It’s us!

This is where we get to introduce ourselves. Our names are Skyring and Discoverylover. Skyring’s the Aussie bloke, DL is the NZ chick. We are both BookCrossers. That’s where we met in fact, back in 2007 in Wellington, New Zealand at a BookCrossing Convention that DL helped to organise. DL had heard of Skyring before then, as happens in internet communities, but I don’t think Skyring had heard of her. She isn’t famous like he is!

We also both love Sister Hazel – they’re our favourite band in fact! So when we decided to start writing a blog together (and after we had the idea for letters to each other) and were trying to come up with a name, DL thought of one of her favourite SH songs, ‘Hello It’s Me‘. It’s quite a romantic song (which is like both of us), which isn’t quite what we’re going for, but we think the title works

We’ve shared a few adventures, which you’ll probably get to read about at some point, as we relive those memories. Which happens fairly regularly!
